How to Install Desktop Anywhere on a Mac 

• Desktop Anywhere works best with Big Sur If you are using a Mac.

• You can skip "Middleware for CAC". It Is not necessary

• TROUBLE SHOOTING TIP: If you complete all the steps and you cant use your CAC on Safari and Chrome (on MAC OS), that does not necessarily mean Desktop Anywhere will not work. 

• TROUBLE SHOOTING TIP: If It still does not work try another CAC reader. Just because It works on a Windows computer that CAC reader may not work on your MAC.

• TROUBLE SHOOTING TIP: If you want to try using your CAC on MAC OS (Not Desktop Anywhere), you will get better results If you use Google Chrome, and open a "New Incognito Window."

• TROUBLE SHOOTING TIP: Sometimes you can resolve problems with Horizon Client by uninstalling and reinstalling Horizon Client. To uninstall Horizon Client, use the same method that you use to uninstall any application. Drag the VMware Horizon Client application from the Applications folder to the Trash and empty the trash. After Horizon Client is uninstalled, you can reinstall it.

• TROUBLE SHOOTING TIP: If you have used VMWare with no Issues but now It will not open, make sure you have the latest VMware Horizon Client for macOS. • Click on the drop down window next to "Select Version" and ensure you are downloading the latest version. After It has downloaded, Install It. It will ask If you want to replace the older version, say yes. Then next time you open VMWare It should work fine.
